UI/UX Design Intern

We're looking for a motivated UI/UX Design Intern who wants to gain hands-on experience in game design. This internship is designed for someone who wants to learn, improve their skills, and understand how real game interfaces are designed, tested, and shipped. You'll also get the opportunity to work with some of the top publishers in the world.

About the Role

You'll work alongside experienced developers and designers and gradually take on tasks based on your comfort level. Take a look at some of our work: our games.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing game UI screens in Figma (shops, upgrades, reward popups, buttons, settings)
  • Helping shape onboarding and tutorial flows
  • Preparing and handing off UI assets to our Unity developers
  • Creating app store creatives: icons, screenshots, feature graphics
  • Learning and researching trending mobile UX patterns, retention, and best practices
  • Participating in team discussions and feedback sessions

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Figma (components, auto-layout, variants)
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / Affinity / GIMP or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of visual hierarchy, spacing, and typography
  • Good understanding of mobile-first design — readability at small sizes, touch targets, safe areas
  • Genuine familiarity with mobile games; able to explain why a specific game's UI works or doesn't
  • Attention to detail and a habit of iterating
  • Willingness to learn and improve
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow guidance and complete assigned tasks

Nice to Have

Optional — not required to apply

  • A portfolio of personal projects, coursework, or redesigns
  • Basic Unity Engine familiarity, 9-slicing
  • Understanding of mobile memory constraints
  • Video editing tools (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
  • 2D art or illustration ability
  • Understanding of 3D workflow and 3D/2D AI generation
